2/4/12 - SYMPHONY BOWL MMXII

The Detroit Symphony Orchestra makes its first appearance in the greatest event in competitive symphonics, taking on the formidable Boston Symphony Orchestra.  And what a concert it is! Paray, Jarvi and Slatkin lead the DSO musicians through a cunning array of plays and memorable tunes.  Chris Felcyn and Joan MacFarlane call the play-by-play, while Jimmy Rhoades once again reports from backstage.  Listen for guest appearances by Maestro Andreas Delfs, DSO trumpeter Bill Lucas, and long-time fan favorites, Flipper and the Dolphonics!
