90.9 and Detroit Public Television congratulate Dave Devereaux on his retirement from an outstanding career in broadcasting! Dave joined DPTV in 1975 after working in commercial TV and went on to become a three-time Emmy Award-winning Producer/Director, Head of Communications, SVP Broadcasting and Station Manager for 90.9. Since July 2020, Dave has served as an independent consultant, supporting the stations through transition and the pandemic crisis. Its rare today that someone works nearly 45 years for an employer, and Dave’s achievement demonstrates his loyalty and passion for the industry. His many contributions will live on for years to come. Thank you, Dave, for your leadership at 90.9 and DPTV and best wishes to you and Kathleen.
Thank you David for your years of broadcasting expertise and commitment, especially with WRCJ.
Certainly enjoyed listening to you over the years..retirement is great…your main job now is to stay healthy and to enjoy life…
Congratulations Dave! You may have to “practice” being retired, cause it’s weird at first, but in a good way. Best of luck to you with many happy years ahead!
Congratulations on your retirement Dave.
