Dexter Community Orchestra is performing their concert with a theme to celebrate their 20th anniversary. This is a free admission event and is open to public.
Our program includes:
* Domenico Dragonetti/Edouard Nanny’s Double Bass Concerto in G major
* Carl Maria von Weber’s Clarinet Concertino in E-flat major, op. 26
* Camille Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto no. 2 in G minor, op. 22
* Johannes Brahms’ Academic Festival Overture, op. 80
* Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “O, wie will ich triumphieren” From The Abduction from the Seraglio, K. 384 – with Stephen West, bass-baritone soloist
* Benjamin Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra, op. 34 – with Stephen West as a narrator.
