Hartford Memorial Baptist Church is delighted to present a special performance of Handel’s Messiah on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 4:00 PM. This cherished event will take place in the church sanctuary, showcasing the renowned Cathedral Choir accompanied by orchestra and friends. The oratorio tells the story of the birth, death and resurrection of Christ.
A Legacy of Excellence
The tradition of performing Handel’s Messiah at Hartford Memorial Baptist Church spans more than 50 years. This legacy was especially meaningful to Pastor Emeritus, the Reverend Charles Gilchrist Adams.
Today, under the leadership of the current pastor, the Reverend Charles Christian Adams ,the church continues to honor a rich musical heritage and commitment to spiritual enrichment.
