Harmony in the Hills Concert Series-Juan Riveros-Virtuosic Harp

Award winning harpist Juan Riveros will perform in the Garden of Hope. He is part of the new generation of young harpists who bridge a variety of genres and artistic avenues and foster an appreciation for an instrument with ancient origins and diverse traditions. He has received numerous honors and performs frequently with orchestras around the country. He earned degrees in harp performance and music theory from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Riveros teaches at a private studio for harp students and most recently at the University of Michigan. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will take place inside the church.
