“Make Voters the Donors: Dan McMillan’s Vision for Real Reform,”
free lunch
Detroit is a city built on community and strength. At Make Voters the Donors, we are proud to continue that tradition by advocating for real reform to get big money out of politics. Many residents are unaware that wealthy donors and corporations have outsized influence over elections and policy, often drowning out everyday voices. We want to change that.
On Wednesday, April 14, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, join us in the Large Conference Room at Detroit TechTown for “Make Voters the Donors: Dan McMillan’s Vision for Real Reform.”
Dan McMillan, our founder and a historian, former prosecutor, and reform advocate, will share how the Voter Dollars proposal puts campaign funding power directly into the hands of registered voters, making voters the donors and restoring government by the people. This free event offers a chance to learn, ask questions, and get involved. A free lunch will also be provided. Whether you’re a long-time resident or new to the area, we welcome you.
Your participation helps build a stronger, fairer democracy for everyone. To learn more or get involved in our mission, visit makevotersthedonors.org or call our office at 202-750-1684. We look forward to seeing you there.
