PROPORTIONED ORCHESTRA

Proportioned Orchestra consists of 4 double basses, keyboard, and drums/vocals. The ensemble plays a variety of material from Astor Piazzolla, Charlie Parker, Jimi Hendrix, Gunther Schuller, and more. 2025 marks 36 years as an ensemble that initially began with only one bassist with drums/vocals. It is the only working ensemble of its type in Michigan and the U.S. The event will be presented Wednesday October 15 at 8 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3619, 23631 Greater Mack Avenue, St. Clair Shores MI 48080.
