Rochester Symphony Orchestra at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Rochester

St. Paul’s United Methodist Church welcomes the Rochester Symphony Orchestra in a concert entitled “Reassurance and Peace” featuring clarinetist Staff Sgt. Nick Thompson of the “President’s Own” United States Marine Band performing Carl Maria von Weber’s
“Clarinet Concert #1 in f minor (Op.73)”.

Also on the program are von Weber’s “Overture to Oberon”, “Bright Blue Music” by Michael Torke and George Gershwin’s “Porgy & Bess Concert Suite #1” and his delightful promenade “Walking The Dog” from the Astaire/Rogers musical “Shall We Dance” with Sgt. Thompson on clarinet. The program also features a piece of music performed by the RSO Young Artist Competition Winner. Tickets are $30.00.
