Silents at the Senate Presents: Cecille B. DeMille’s The Volga Boatman (1926) at the Senate Theater

The Senate Theater celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the Senate Theater’s Grand Opening showing the Centennial Encore of Cecille B. DeMille’s The Volga Boatman (1926). Vera (Elinor Fair), a princess engaged to a Russian nobleman, falls in love with Feodor (William Boyd), a young boatman. A revolution breaks out and the threatened princess is saved by the boatman. Live organ accompaniment by Lance Luce.
