Warren Concert Band presents “Prelude to Spring” concert

The Warren Concert Band, directed by Jeremy Duby presents a “Prelude to Spring” concert with a Hymn by J.S. Bach, Overture to “Candide” by Leonard Bernstein which has charmed audiences for decades with its dashing and exhilarating overture requiring immense precision, fast pace and sophistication.
The symphonic piece “Give Us this Day” by David Maslanka is comprised of two movements, the first slower and deeply searching, a highly energized and dramatic second movement. Both movements are expressive, technical and tonal.
The band is also performing energizing and bright Sousa Marches along with a few other very touching pieces and an encore you do not want to miss!
