WWI Polar Bear Memorial Ceremony at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery

Please join us as White Chapel hosts the only Memorial Day ceremony of its kind honoring “Michigan’s Own Polar Bears”.
Reenactors in historically accurate WWI military garb will participate in a salute to veterans of the little-known WWI expedition to Northern Russia. Memorial Day at 11:00 am in front of the Polar Bear Monument near the Temple of Memories Mausoleum. An awe-inspiring display of over 400 large American flags will line causeways throughout the park.
