I support WRCJ and now I listen to the station at work all day long. It provides me with a relaxing and yet invigorating environment. Who wouldn’t want to support this wonderful station that keeps classical and jazz; both worldwide and national, alive! Thank you WRCJ!

At around 8:30pm there was a song playing that was a jazz version of the song “The little things you do together” by Steven sondheim, and shazam couldn’t seem to pick it up. I was wondering who’s cover is it? Is it a michigan artist? It was really great

I thought it was yesterday or perhaps Tues. around noon this week that you played a piece featuring Pavarotti. Dan’t seem to find it on playlist unless its a piece that didn’t mention Luciano’s name. It was a sad piece as announcer said after it ended, “Now onto something more cheerfu.
l” If you remember it could you please give me the name of the album.

Are there plans to add track metadata to the stream? I don’t use TuneIn so I am unsure if it is on there.

Having the band name and the track title would be great if I am unable to write down what the host reads off.

I usually listen to the stream through my music player on my computer or through a radio app on my phone.

The metadata that shows up is usually, “Non-music: ProgramTitle” where “ProgramTitle” is something like Jazzfest Detroit or Maxology, but never the track or band.

Oh ok, with JazzFest and Maxology the hosts are playing music off their CDs, not playing from our computer system so the info isn’t there for the display. We have been adding more jazz to our database though so maybe sometime in the future they can use the database and the info will be displayed.

Hope the new “listen live” web app is going away soon. I miss being able to backup and catch the announcers comments about a piece on the previous version.

Love the music mix and particularity that it is just not the best hits of Beethoven and Mozart.
