Detroit Chamber Winds & Strings presents this Structurally Sound Concert. Set in the historic Hosmer Building – a 1911 Italian Renaissance library turned creative hub – this multimedia program explores the art of storytelling through sound. Bassoonist Conrad Cornelison leads the performance alongside oboist Alex Kinmonth, Flutist Amanda Blaikie, and clarinetist Jack Walters.

Built in 1910, originally named the Hosmer Branch Library, a branch of the Detroit Public Library, this building opened early in January of 1911, only a few years before WWI began.
