Galaxy of Sound – A concert by Ferndale Community Concert Band

Join the Ferndale Community Concert Band, under the direction of Artistic Director and Conductor Ed Quick, for a “Galaxy of Sound” concert. On this May the 4th (be with you) we perform “The Star Wars Epic – Part 1” by John Williams featuring “The Imperial March”, “Princess Leia’s Theme”, and other themes from the early episodes. Also on the program is Dmitri Shostakovich’s “Folk Dances”, “Yorkshire Ballad” by James Barnes, and “Hymn to the Fallen” from the movie “Saving Private Ryan” by John Williams.

The M-1 Jazz Collective will start the concert at 3:00 PM. We hope you will join us for this exciting concert journey through the galaxy.
