Am I crazy or has Carl G. been six minutes late when announcing the time for the past few mornings?

I’d like to hear the theme music to the movie ‘Moment to Moment’

Hi Rosalyn, we’ll have to check and see if that one is in our music library. Or perhaps our film expert Jack Goggin has it in his collection.

4/13 morning seems to have engineering issues: starting the wrong tapes, interchanging the recordings of the esteemed Dr Dave with a different host with gaps / silence and queuing up the wrong music.
…Still the best radio to be heard in Detroit!

I Really liked hearing the “Niagara Suite – Power of Niagara” today. We so often hear Grofe’s “Grand Canyon Suite”, but this was a very fun piece – great percussion!

Thank you Chris, perhaps next we should play a piece about Old Faithful!

Will you be playing Beethoven’s Ode to Joy tomorrow, March 10, along with other local and world wide radio stations in response to Ukraines defense against the war from Russia?

    Hello!
I was delighted to hear Sergei Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” today (RCA 62563); it would be lovely to hear it again tomorrow in honour of David Bowie’s birthday! TIA

Hi Deborah, glad you enjoyed that. We scheduled it yesterday to honor David Bowie’s birthday because we wanted it to get it in before the weekend.

Hello! On 12/31/21 there was an oboe concert played in the morning, probably between 9-10AM, and I can’t recall who the composer was. I checked the playlists, but there isn’t anything listed for that day. Wondering if someone might know. Many thanks and happy new year!

You played an amazing performance of Vivaldi’s “Winter” from The Four Seasons this morning between 9 and 10 am. What was the performing ensemble?

Hi Katherine, that piece was performed by Gil Shaham on the violin along with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra.

Thank you so much for playing the Concerto for Harp and Orchestra by Von Dittersdorf at around 11:30 a.m. today (Dec. 13). Your play list doesn’t mention the harpist. Could you tell me who it was? I was so impressed.

Hi Mary Lou, that was Nicanor Zabaleta on the harp. Glad you liked it!
