Dominic Waddles Featurettes
In-Studio Interviews
Detroit saxophonist, composer and educator Dominic Waddles presents Detroit-made classical music stories from Thomas Wilkins to Lara Downes, Isata Kanneh-Mason to William Eddins. Waddles is a Wayne State University grad with a focus on Jazz Studies. In addition to being a gifted instrumentalist, Waddles is a member of the music theory staff at Michigan State University’s Community Music School-Detroit. He also leads the Civic Jazz Band with the DSO’s civic ensemble program. And for many years, Dominic has performed with and arranged music for his renown musical family. We’re thrilled that this busy and talented young musician will also be heard on 90.9 WRCJ with music and story-telling features throughout our February classical schedule.
