Listen this Sunday at noon to our broadcast of the Michigan Phil’s historic 80th season opener, starting with a fantastic birthday celebration bash concert, featuring the talented cellist, Deborah Pae performing a “Dance for Cello and Orchestra” by composer Anna Clyne. The night showcases the power of the orchestra with a diverse range of pieces including a “Birthday Fantasia” by Zhou Tian and Beethoven’s fabulous “Overture to Fidelio, Op. 72).” Hosted by Ron Nolan.
