Thanks Dave for reviving my soul with that long “An English Country Ball” by Baltimore Consort.
Been under the weather for awhile so thanks.
Thank you Lawrence. Soul revival is one of our free services! Feel better.
I just recently began listening to WRCJ and I am hooked!
Each host brings something different and amazing.
Also, we get essentially two stations in one. “Classical by day and jazz by night.”
Is it possible to send hosts an individual email?
Thanks for all you do.
Hello Tim, thanks and welcome! Some of our hosts have individual mailboxes. If you visit this page you can click on the hosts names to contact them: https://www.wrcjfm.org/contacts/
Um….. where is Tony Bruscato with traffic? I came to this website explicitly to find more information about Tony and there isn’t a lick of it.
PLEASE. ASSIST.
-Tony’s #1 fans, Matt & Kate
P.S. Dave’s cool too.
Hello Tony fans! Sorry about that. Tony sends us his reports from outside the office so he didn’t make it on to the staff contacts page. We will see about adding him though…
Gotta get Judy Adams in Chris Felcyn’s spot. Judy is the right person for the job. Great voice. Great personality. God bless Chris and God rest his soul. God bless WRCJ.
I gave again today, despite my gift during the spring fund raiser campaign, in honor of Chris and to thank Carl for filling in, despite his “retirement”. My first active listening to classical radio music was the early 70’s with Carl, recognizing his voice as the Michigan Band Voice! Then SE MI lost WQRS and Carl! I could only hear him in the stadium as the M band voice and then more recently also as the play by play announcer! So happy to hear his voice every day now as he covers ? temporarily Chris’s hours! Thank you Carl and welcome back to AA and SE MI! My extra gift today was in honor of Chris – dearly miss his musical genius!
Thank you very much Catherine! Hopefully Carl’s stadium time held you over until now and we appreciate the memorial Chris donation. Enjoy the music (and hosts)!
Thank you WRCJ for everything you are and do. This station has inspired me to further pursue my studies in classical and jazz, as well as, pursue a longtime dream of mine to become a broadcast media professional. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication into keeping these great arts alive.
Thanks Ayinde we appreciate that. We wish you luck with your studies and we will do our best to preserve classical and jazz in Detroit.

Copland #3: What a gift to America!
Indeed Dave. Thank you Mr. Copland!
Karl
I love your “asides” comments. Today’s gem was “Locatelli, one of the endless Baroque composers”. So true, so true.
Thank you Dave. They sure made a lot of those.
Where’s Lynn Warfel?
Great veteran’s day show today. Private Ryan never fails to move me to tears.
Hi Julie, Lynn was here. Thanks for listening to Saturday Cinema, Veteran’s Day Edition!
Wanted to let her know I am listening every Saturday. Is she on Facebook?
We appreciate that! It doesn’t look like she has a public facebook page.
Dear Mr Grapentine. How great to have you back. We moved to Port Huron in1973 and you were the first intellectual music that we found. Hope you stay. We loved Chris and miss him dearly. We have also streamed you on WFMT from Chicago, the oldest FM in the country. (I grew up in the Chicago area. Had oboe lessons with Ray Still.) You used the Fanfare for your morning show. That was my alarm clock. Do you remember this? One morning my wife came back to rouse me to say; “Dave. One of those big ships sank in Lake Superior!” It was the Edmund Fitzgerald. I was also playing in Martin Stella band at orchestra hall and you were the announcer. We have a little history. So welcome back. I will go now and make a contribution to WRCJ. (Almost typed WQRS)
Thank you Dave, we will send this along to Carl. Don’t worry about accidentally typing WQRS, many of us around here have almost made that mistake many times.
AFTER ALTERING SIGNAL ,THE SOUND VOLUME IS MUCH LOWER.
Hello Leo, we are temporarily on a back up transmitter while work is being done on our tower. We hope to return to our regular transmitter soon.
I love listening to your guest host Ms. Sharpe. She is just wonderful, so informative and kind. I just lost my father and we both enjoyed her programs so much, she always picked us up when we were down.
John
Thank you John. Sorry to hear about your father. We hope the station helps a little.
WoW..John Hill ; Thank You …strongest set I have heard in yrs. Or maybe it’s just me..no IT IS YOU.
Thanks Ron, Mr. Hill aims to please!
I just tuned in online from Florida to listen to Chris in the afternoon. To my surprise the Well Tempered Witeless was hosted by another. Cecilia did a fine job and I loved her assistant today!
Thanks for tuning in all the way from Florida! Chris will be back July 30th but in the meantime, it’s good to hear you enjoyed Cecelia and her “assistant”.
