You said the Brahms Lullaby played today at about 9:50 was recorded on the piano by Jennie Lind. The Swedish singer died in 1887. How is this possible? If there’s another Jennie Lind you need to say so.

    Love listening to your station.

Hello Art, this Brahms Lullaby was performed by Jenny Lin a Taiwanese-born American pianist. Similar name but a more recent pianist. Thank you for tuning in.

So sorry to hear today’s mid day guest host will be leaving after today . I enjoyed listening to him and particularly his lighthearted interaction with Dave Wagner several weeks back.

Thank you Susan. Carl will probably do some more guest hosting at some point in the future.

Do you broadcast in stereo or mono? I get a lot of static in stereo but none in mono. Thanks

Hello Gary, we broadcast in stereo but if you are receiving a weak signal switching to mono is often a tweak you can make that reduces static.

Hi Chris, I’ve been listening to classical music all my life. 7 decades worth. Never heard of Chadwick before. You said he was the most prominent composer of the 19th century, so I stopped what I was doing and turned the stereo up to concert volume just to listen to this piece I never heard before. Thanks for the music education!!!!

    Hello,

If I am not mistaken Dave Wagner always likes to tell the story of how Czech composer Vlaceviczek (or how exactly is his name spelled on the CDs?) was a friend and influence on the young Mozart.

If I am not mistaken, can you please send me his complete name and the alternative spellings for his name? I would appreciate as so far I have not been able to find anything about him on the internet? Thanks a lot.

Hello Yuval, that sounds like Josef Mysliveček. He was Czech and a friend to young Mozart.

Thanks for posting the new links. The Internet Radio link works for my Roku Soundbridge.

TuneIn Radio seems to have caught up with your new link. Either searching by voice on Alexa or by typing the call letters on the TuneIn website brings up your station.

Unfortunately, vTuner has not caught up with you yet. I emailed them your “new links” page. My main audio system uses their app/database.

I listen to WRCJ via a Grace Digital Radio (Internet) hardware because your signal is weak out here in Brighton. As of last week that no longer works because of your software upgrade. Please get your software back in sync with what is used by internet providers. We are sustaining WRCJ members and would like to keep this relationship going. However, if this is not fixed this week, we will cancel our membership and stop our monthly donation.

Hi Richard, Grace Internet Radio needs this URL – http://66.55.143.200/stream/wrcjfm.pls?mp=/stream

Let us know if that doesn’t work for you.

Thanks so much for your support!

Cheryl, I need you or someone at WRCJ to contact the people at Grace Digital Audio and get added to their database. I am a user, not a tech person. Their contact info is http://grace.reciva.com/.

Could you try again today to listen? A 3rd party updated their link and we believe this could help.

I’m guessing most of these internet radio devices use TuneIn? Unfortunately they have not updated to the new IP address. As soon as that’s available we’ll post an update. Very sorry for the delay.
